{"id":156222,"date":"2026-02-08T18:33:07","date_gmt":"2026-02-08T18:33:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/156222\/"},"modified":"2026-02-08T18:33:07","modified_gmt":"2026-02-08T18:33:07","slug":"san-antonio-is-one-of-the-best-places-to-get-married-in-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/156222\/","title":{"rendered":"San Antonio is one of the best places to get married in 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>San Antonio is in line to catch the bouquet as the No. 20 best place to get married in the U.S. in 2026, according to a new study.<\/p>\n<p>WalletHub&#8217;s 2026 &#8220;Best Places to Get Married&#8221; report <a href=\"https:\/\/wallethub.com\/edu\/best-places-to-get-married\/18721\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ranked<\/a> 182 U.S. cities based on the average wedding costs; the number of venues, vendors, and services; and the number of activities and attractions in every city.<\/p>\n<p>San Antonio was bested by the usual suspects: Wedding-crazed Las Vegas, Nevada (No. 1); the Florida cities of Orlando (No. 2), Miami (No. 3), and Tampa (No. 5); and Atlanta, Georgia (No. 4). San Antonio&#8217;s Texas neighbors Austin (No. 6) and Houston (No. 7) also nabbed top 10 spots.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the report&#8217;s findings, the Alamo City&#8217;s entertainment scene and tourism popularity helped rank No. 22 in the &#8220;activities and attractions&#8221; category, and its wedding facilities and services are the 37th best nationally.<\/p>\n<p>The Knot shows there are more than 250 local <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theknot.com\/marketplace\/wedding-reception-venues-san-antonio-tx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">wedding venues<\/a> for couples to tour, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theknot.com\/marketplace\/the-gardens-of-cranesbury-view-serving-san-antonio-tx-435010\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">scenic gardens<\/a> and fancy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theknot.com\/marketplace\/hotel-contessa-san-antonio-tx-549125\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">hotels<\/a> along the River Walk. <\/p>\n<p>Weddings don&#8217;t come cheap, and couples spend about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theknot.com\/content\/average-wedding-cost\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">$33,000 on average<\/a> for their special day, according to The Knot.
