Dallas police are investigating multiple homicide cases reported across the city during the first week of February, according to separate press releases from the Dallas Police Department.<\/p>\n

Double Homicide Near Good Latimer Expressway<\/p>\n

On February 7, at approximately 1:35 a.m., officers responded to a stabbing call in the 400 block of North Good Latimer Expressway.<\/p>\n

A preliminary investigation determined<\/a> that 28-year-old Alyshah Punjani and 30-year-old Adrian Williams Jr. were stabbed during a fight in the 2600 block of Floyd Street. Both victims were transported to a local hospital, where they later died.<\/p>\n

Police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Sergio Naffarratte. Authorities said Naffarratte was treated at a local hospital for a minor cut and released before being taken into custody. He was charged with two counts of capital murder and booked into the Dallas County Jail.<\/p>\n

Shooting on South Jim Miller Road<\/p>\n

On February 5, at approximately 10:25 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 200 block of South Jim Miller Road.<\/p>\n

Officers found a man suffering from gunshot<\/a> wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital, where he died. The Dallas County Medical Examiner will assist with identifying the victim.<\/p>\n

During the investigation, officers identified 44-year-old Juaquai Gregg, who was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. Police said no arrests have been made in connection with the homicide investigation itself.<\/p>\n

The case remains under investigation and is documented under case number 017097-2026.<\/p>\n

Woman Killed in Green Cove Lane Shooting<\/p>\n

On February 2, at approximately 3:55 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 800 block of Green Cove Lane.<\/p>\n

A preliminary investigation determined that 28-year-old Tabatha Jones was shot<\/a> at the location. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Jones to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

Police arrested 49-year-old Shanika Battle at the scene and charged her with murder. Authorities said the suspect and victim were known to one another.<\/p>\n

The investigation is documented under case number 015526-2026.<\/p>\n
