A Fort Worth Brewery located on the city’s “Panther Island” will close its doors, its owners said.<\/p>\n
FORT WORTH, Texas \u2014 Panther Island Brewing, a Fort Worth brewery just north of downtown, will close its doors after 11 years this month, its owners announced in a social media post.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The brewing company started out in a storage unit using a small-batch system, the brewery said on its website. It’s American Wheat Ale, called Allergeez, won a gold medal at the 2020 Great American Beer Festival, the website states.<\/p>\n
“We\u2019re endlessly proud of the beers we brewed, the stories we shared, and the people who made it all meaningful,” the post reads. “To everyone who worked with us, the artists and musicians who filled our space with life, the fellow brewers who inspired us, and the incredible Fort Worth community who supported us from day one, thank you.”<\/p>\n
The weekend of Feb. 7 – 9 will be the final weekend of taproom service, the post states.
