Northwest Highway, represents a natural extension of that Fort Worth heritage. Rather than expanding away from its roots, NBT is expanding from them – its community-first approach into neighboring markets.

The groundbreaking ceremony brought together bank leadership, business partners, and community supporters to celebrate not only the future branch, but the shared history and values that continue to guide the bank’s growth.

“This project reflects who we are and where we come from,” said Janice Spooner, Regional President for NBT Financial Bank. “NBT was built in Fort Worth with a commitment to relationships, integrity, and long-term partnership. Our expansion into Grapevine allows us to continue that mission while serving even more communities across Northeast Tarrant County.”

NBT Financial Bank’s growth strategy has always focused on thoughtful, relationship-based expansion rather than rapid footprint growth. Construction on the Grapevine branch began in 2026 and will result in a full-service location offering commercial banking, treasury management, and personal financial services, supported by local leadership and decision-making.

Community collaboration remains central to NBT’s approach. Local partners, city leaders, and business advocates joined the ceremony, symbolizing the cooperative spirit behind the project.

“We are grateful for the Fort Worth community that built us and for the Grapevine community that is welcoming us,” Spooner added. “This branch represents both our history and our future.”

The Grapevine branch is expected to open in late 2026. Until then, NBT Financial Bank continues to serve Northeast Tarrant County customers through its nearby Hurst location and regional operations.

In addition to the Grapevine expansion, NBT Financial Bank will also open its new Camp Bowie location in Fort Worth in 2026, further reinforcing the bank’s long-standing commitment to the city where its story began. “We’re proud to be bringing NBT to Camp Bowie in a meaningful way. Our plans for a Camp Bowie branch allows us to continue serving Fort Worth in a location that fits the character and energy of this corridor.” says Jason Ballou, Camp Bowie Market President.

As NBT Financial Bank continues to grow, its Fort Worth roots remain the foundation of everything it builds next.

Member FDIC

This article first appeared on Fort Worth Report and is republished here under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.

by Meliza Aguilera, Fort Worth Report February 10, 2026 NBT Financial Bank officially broke ground on its new Grapevine…

[10
116,118,117,3501
0":"post-158685","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-fort-worth","8":"tag-fort-worth","9":"tag-fort-worth-headlines","10":"tag-fort-worth-news","11":"tag-sponsoredcontent
["GET
