Beginning Aug. 27, 2025, getting a permit for special events in Arlington will be easier and faster. The City of Arlington is launching Eproval, a new 24\/7 online system, available at ArlingtonPermits.com<\/a>, for Temporary Outdoor and Special Event permit applications and processing.<\/p>\n Who is impacted?<\/p>\n Organizations that hold preplanned outdoor public gatherings that include things such as a street\/sidewalk closure, the use of alcohol, on-site cooking, sale of goods or food (includes food trucks), fireworks, amplified sound or temporary structures, such as tents, stages, and platforms. Examples include:<\/p>\n
What are the key benefits?
How do you apply?<\/p>\n A \u201cSpecial Events Permit\u201d link will be available on ArlingtonPermits.com<\/a> beginning Aug. 27. All users will need to set up a new account, start a new temporary outdoor or special event application by responding to key questions about your event.<\/p>\n Any time you want to check status, ask questions or respond to City staff regarding an active application, simply log in and select your event application.<\/p>\n View the Updated Fee Schedule<\/a><\/p>\n To learn more, visit the Planning and Development Services department webpage<\/a> and select Special Event Permitting.
