Led by a sweep of rough stock events, the men\u2019s team accumulated 510 points, while the women\u2019s championship effort featured wins in two of three events and a 465-point team total.<\/p>\n<p>The teams\u2019 dominance in Cowtown featured top performances in five of nine events, which kept the men and women at the top of the team leaderboard in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Lone Star Region. In addition, seven Tarleton State riders and ropers lead their events in the regional standings.<\/p>\n<p>Lone Star Region leading bareback rider Devon Moore posted the top scores in both the long go-round and the finals to lead a sweep of the top five places in the event\u2019s average. Moore turned in an 84.5 in the preliminary round, then added a finals-best 87.5 for a 172 total.                                                                                                                                                                                 Daxtyn Field was runner-up with his 83-81.5 \u2014 164.5 and Weston Chandler took third with a 160 on twin 80s. Regional all-around leader Clay Greenslade was fourth with his 75-76 \u2014151 and Taylon Carmody\u2019s 69-74 \u2014 143 was fifth.<\/p>\n<p>Devon Hay took a long-go best 82 into the saddle bronc finals, where he added a 77 and finished first with his combined 159. Teammate Montgomery Parsons\u2019 second-place 156.5 featured an 81, the top score in the finals. Travis Stanley\u2019s 9.2-9.2 \u2014 18.4 was good for seventh.<\/p>\n<p>Tarleton State heeler Conner Callihan partnered with Ranger College header Kutter Babb for a 5.8-11.1 \u2014 16.9, good for fourth in team roping. Levi DeLuna and Kreece Dearing were fifth with their 7.4-12.2 \u2014 19.6. Steer wrestler Rawley Arballo\u2019s 4.5-5.5 \u2014 10 earned a fourth-place finish in the event while teammate Dearing took fifth with a 5-5.3 \u2014 10.3.<\/p>\n<p>Tarleton State\u2019s dominance in the women\u2019s events featured a first-place tie by breakaway ropers Jenna Fulton and Emilee Charlesworth. Makalyee Fischer\u2019s 2.6-2.7 \u2014 5.3 was fifth, Kieley Walz took sixth with her 2.3-3.3 \u2014 5.6, Addy Gose\u2019s 2.6-4.2 \u2014 6.8 was seventh and Lauren Barton took ninth with a combined 14.5 on runs of 2.4 and 12.1.<\/p>\n<p>Faith Lundberg paced a group of four Tarleton State goat tyers who placed in the rodeo\u2019s top five. Lundberg turned in a 6.4-second time in the long go-round and added a 6.2 in the finals for a 12.6, good for first place in the average. Rylee Abel, regional all-around leader, and Kaylie Garza, event leader in the current Lone Star standings, tied for third with identical 12.9s. Abel\u2019s total came on runs of 6.6 and 6.3. Garza\u2019s featured a long-go best 6.0 and a 6.9 in the finals.<\/p>\n<p>Led by Charlesworth\u2019s third place 16.92-16.92 \u2014 33.84, Tarleton State took four spots in the barrel racing finals.
