{"id":160325,"date":"2026-02-11T18:54:09","date_gmt":"2026-02-11T18:54:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/160325\/"},"modified":"2026-02-11T18:54:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-11T18:54:09","slug":"westside-village-complex-breaks-ground-in-west-fort-worth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/160325\/","title":{"rendered":"Westside Village complex breaks ground in west Fort Worth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The dirt is officially turning on a $1.7 billion, 37-acre mixed-use complex called <a href=\"https:\/\/westsidevillagefw.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Westside Village<\/a> in west Fort Worth.<\/p>\n<p>Located at the northeast corner of University Drive and White Settlement Road (encompassing the now-razed Fort Worth ISD headquarters), Westside Village will be home to:<\/p>\n<p>a 308-unit luxury multifamily communitya 100,000-square-foot Class AA office building with premier workspaceground-floor retailtwo restaurant conceptsa private social cluba below-grade jazz club<\/p>\n<p>And that&#8217;s just Phase 1, according to a release.<\/p>\n<p>Details of the most exciting parts for the general public &#8211; the restaurants and underground jazz club &#8211; are still to come.<\/p>\n<p>An indoor-outdoor entertainment venue called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfaa.com\/article\/news\/local\/tarrant-county\/restaurant-entertainment-venue-anchor-17-billion-fort-worth-development\/287-2c6d1c65-c8de-455d-b55b-8149e3751708\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The Shed<\/a> is in the works during Phase 1, too.<\/p>\n<p>At full build-out, Westside Village will offer about 880,000 square feet of Class AA office space, 238,000 square feet of retail, 1,785 residential units, and a luxury boutique hotel, developers say.<\/p>\n<p>The complex, along the West Fork of the Trinity River, will be a walkable urban village. All the buildings will be connected by a shared underground parking garage designed to support a walkable, integrated environment, the release says.<\/p>\n<p>Moss Construction, a nationally recognized construction firm, has broken ground on the master-planned district, which is being developed by FW Westside RE Investors LLC, a partnership between Keystone Group, LP and Larkspur Capital LP. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cPhase I of Westside Village brings together multifamily and office construction on a shared site, requiring tight coordination and disciplined execution,\u201d said Josh Carson, vice president at Moss Construction, in a statement. \u201cOur team is excited to move into construction and deliver the first phase of a long-term mixed-use district for Fort Worth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\"\/>The Phase I office building was designed by Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, with Corgan as architect. Corgan is also designing the multifamily building, which will include residential units, live-work spaces, and ground-floor retail.
