KATY, Texas – Two toddlers were flown to a hospital after their family found them drowning at their Katy home on Wednesday, according to Harris County authorities.<\/p>\n

What we know:<\/p>\n

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says<\/a> two baby girls nearly drowned at a home on Creek Edge Court<\/a>, near Morton and Mason Roads, close to Grand Parkway.<\/p>\n

Authorities at the scene said calls started coming in at about 11:30 a.m. Deputies came to the home and found paramedics performing life-saving measures on the girls.<\/p>\n

Both were taken to a hospital via LifeFlight. Officials said medical staff were still working to help the girls.<\/p>\n

\"Toddlers <\/p>\n

The two and three-year-old girls reportedly live at the home with their mother and grandparents. Their grandmother had just come home from running errands and found the girls in the pool.<\/p>\n

The grandmother screamed, prompting the toddlers’ mother, the grandfather, and two neighbors to come rescue the girls.<\/p>\n

What we don’t know:<\/p>\n

The children’s current conditions are not clear at this time.<\/p>\n
