And while it is finally substantially complete now, that type of hit to any business- even one backed by a massive corporate infrastructure- is hard to recover from. And many businesses called it quits or barely survived during those years.<\/p>\n<p>Lubbock Loses 19th Street Pizza Hut<\/p>\n<p>It is possible that the loss of this <a href=\"https:\/\/kfyo.com\/tags\/lubbock-restaurants\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pizza Hut<\/a> was part of a larger culling of underperforming locations. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/money\/food\/2026\/02\/04\/pizza-hut-closing-locations\/88515586007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">According to USA Today<\/a>,\u00a0250 &#8220;underperforming&#8221; locations are to be closed in response to a loss in the final quarter of 2025- a time which saw significant growth in other brands like Taco Bell.
