We took the lead a few minutes in and the Sooner never came within 14 points of us after a minute into the second. Mikayla Blakes and Aubrey Galvan put up 34 and 30, respectively, while likely SEC Freshman of the Year Aaliyah Chavez finished with just 14. We have staked out our spot as the no. 5 team in the country quite well, proving we can beat most any competitor save for the few truly elite teams. There\u2019s just something special about those top 4 teams in college basketball though, those towering 1-seeds, and today we get one last opportunity to prove we belong in that group.<\/p>\n
