Mother-daughter team at Beach’n Blooms prepares for busy Valentine’s weekend, offering tulips, roses, and last-minute grab-and-go bouquets.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and Beach’n Blooms on the island is buzzing with activity as customers pick up flowers and gifts for their loved ones.

Lexis Green reported live from the shop on Thursday morning, highlighting the mother-daughter duo behind the business.

“We love our community and want to make sure they’re taken care of,” said owner Megan. “If you order from us directly, we can customize your order, add more flowers, and make it special. We accommodate last-minute shoppers too.”

Tariffs and international shipping costs have affected flower prices, particularly for blooms imported from South America. Despite this, the shop is offering a wide selection, including tulips and roses, while peonies are unavailable this year because they are out of season.

“We’re ready for Valentine’s Day, and everything is set up to make it special for our customers,” Green said, highlighting grab-and-go options for those shopping last-minute.

Customers can browse and pick up bouquets in person, with on-demand designs available for quick customization. Beach’n Blooms emphasizes that ordering directly from the shop ensures the highest quality and full creative control over each arrangement.

“We love our community and pour ourselves into every design we make,” Green added, encouraging locals to support the shop and make Valentine’s extra special.
