{"id":161787,"date":"2026-02-12T16:42:18","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T16:42:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/161787\/"},"modified":"2026-02-12T16:42:18","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T16:42:18","slug":"metrorail-red-green-purple-lines-to-adjust-service-feb-13-15-for-maintenance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/161787\/","title":{"rendered":"METRORail Red, Green, Purple lines to adjust service Feb. 13\u201315 for maintenance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">If you rely on METRORail, expect changes this weekend. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/topic\/METRO\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/topic\/METRO\/\">METRO<\/a> will replace train service with shuttle buses on parts of the Red, Green and Purple lines while crews perform scheduled maintenance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">According to METRO, the work is part of the METRONow plan and includes repairs designed to improve reliability, reduce future disruptions and keep trains running on time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">METRO says rail service adjustments will be in place from Friday, Feb. 13, through Sunday, Feb. 15.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Shuttle buses will run every 10 minutes during the service disruption.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Red Line: Northline Transit Center \/ HCC Station to TMC Transit Center Station<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Green and Purple Lines: Theater District Station to EaDo \/ Stadium Station<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Riders are encouraged to allow extra travel time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">METRO Customer Service is available by call or text at 713-635-4000 from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">METRO staff will also be on-site to assist passengers during the service adjustments.<\/p>\n<p>Start Here, Houston<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 kiwhtN\">More Stories Like This In Our Email Newsletter<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 by KPRC Click2Houston &#8211; All rights reserved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"If you rely on METRORail, expect changes this weekend.
