AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin Police Department has identified the person who was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash along I-35.<\/p>\n
The backstory:<\/p>\n
APD says officers responded to an auto-pedestrian crash in the 10400 block of South I-35 proper southbound on Feb. 10 at around 3:55 a.m.<\/p>\n
Police say the driver remained at the scene, was not impaired, and cooperated with the investigation.<\/p>\n
The pedestrian, identified as 45-year-old David Rodriguez, was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
The case remains under investigation.<\/p>\n

On the date of this crash in 2025, five fatal crashes resulted in five deaths.<\/p>\n
