The Texans will face off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ray comes in on four and Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on five.

Ray can’t be too worried about heading out to take on Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial: they just beat Carroll at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Texans walked away with a 61-52 win over the Tigers on Tuesday. The final result isn’t all that surprising considering the Texans’ considerable advantage in MaxPreps’ Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Tigers are ranked 648th).

Jayden Zaragoza

02/10/26 @ Carroll55%02/06/26 @ Corpus Christi Moody56%02/03/26 @ King83%01/30/26 vs Gregory-Portland100%

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ray to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Zaragoza, who shot 55% from the field on his way to 19 points. Zaragoza is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he’s posted one of at least 55% in the last four games he’s played. The team also got some help courtesy of Huzefa Ullah, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 15 points.

Meanwhile, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Miller 81-46. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Ray’s record now sits at 25-8. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, their record is now 21-9.

Ray came out on top in a nail-biter against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 66-63. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Texans since the team won’t have the home-court advantage this time around. We’ll see if the change in venue makes a difference.

Article generated by infoSentience based on data entered on MaxPreps

Ray hasn’t had much luck against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial recently, but that could start to change on…

[14
155,157,156
post-162393","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-corpus-christi","tag-corpus-christi","tag-corpus-christi-headlines","tag-corpus-christi-news
["GET
