CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 A lucky Chick-fil-A customer in Corpus Christi is set to enjoy free food for the next year after purchasing a rare Golden Fan Cup<\/a> at La Palmera Mall<\/a> location over the weekend.<\/p>\n Assistant Manager Veronica Vasquez told 3NEWS that one of the promotional cups was sold last Saturday, Feb. 7, by a member of their team, making the customer eligible to redeem the grand prize of free Chick-fil-A for a year.<\/p>\n The Golden Fan Cup is part of Chick-fil-A\u2019s yearlong 80th anniversary celebration, which launched Jan. 5 and includes a nationwide sweepstakes tied to a series of retro-inspired collectible drink cups.<\/p>\n Guests who purchase one of the $3.99 Classic Cups may randomly receive the specialty Golden Fan Cup design.
