A medic with the Fort Worth Fire Department has been arrested on an aggravated sexual assault charge out of Saginaw, police said in a news release.<\/p>\n

A paramedic with the Fort Worth Fire Department has been arrested and accused of sexually assaulting a patient during a home visit in Saginaw in late December, officials said.<\/p>\n
Luke Phillip Dickens, 35, turned himself in at the Tarrant County Sheriff\u2019s Office on Feb. 6, the Fort Worth Fire Department said in a statement Thursday.<\/p>\n
\u201cUpon learning of his arrest, the Fort Worth Fire Department Internal Affairs Unit immediately began an investigation,\u201d the statement reads. \u201cParamedic Luke Dickens was placed on administrative leave for the duration of the ongoing criminal and administrative investigations.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to a news release from Saginaw police, Dickens had an in-home visit scheduled with a patient on Dec. 30. He\u2019s accused of sexually assaulting the patient during that time.<\/p>\n
The victim initially reported the incident to Fort Worth police, the release states, but it was ultimately determined the alleged assault took place in the 500 block of Ridgecrest Drive in Saginaw.<\/p>\n
Detectives with the Saginaw Police Department learned about the incident on Jan. 13 and launched an investigation. They identified Dickens as a suspect and issued a warrant for his arrest, according the release.<\/p>\n
Dickens was booked into the Tarrant County Jail<\/a> on Feb. 6 and faces an aggravated sexual assault charge, according to court records. He has since bonded out. It\u2019s not clear if Dickens has obtained an attorney.<\/p>\n The Fire Department is working in cooperation with the Saginaw Police Department.<\/p>\n \u201cA thorough investigation to collect and review the facts and the circumstances of these allegations is being conducted,\u201d fire officials said in the statement.<\/p>\n Dickens has been employed with the Fort Worth Fire Department since the transition from MedStar<\/a> on July 1, 2025.
