Plano<\/a> has gone a perfect 3-0 against Rock Hill<\/a> recently and they’ll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wildcats will face off against the Blue Hawks at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.<\/p>\n

Plano came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Plano East, falling 3-0. That makes it the first time this season the Wildcats have let down their home crowd.<\/p>\n

Plano took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 27-25.<\/p>\n

Plano’s loss shouldn’t obscure the performances of Savannah Osborn<\/a>, who had 17 assists and seven digs, and Madeline Garcia<\/a>, who had 15 digs and seven kills. Osborn has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last 14 times she’s played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maren McCardel<\/a>, who had 15 assists and five digs.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Rock Hill lost 3-0 to Plano East on Friday. The Blue Hawks have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.<\/p>\n

Rock Hill was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn’t the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-17, 25-10.<\/p>\n

Plano will have to contain Emma Alexander<\/a> as she made an impact in Rock Hill’s last game. She had 19 digs.<\/p>\n

Rock Hill’s defeat dropped their record down to 12-24. As for Plano, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 26-10.<\/p>\n

Everything went Plano’s way against Rock Hill when the teams last played back in September, as Plano made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won’t have the home-court advantage this time around.
