Entering his second season at the helm, head coach Michael Earley is tasked with leading the Maroon and White back to their competitive ways. To start that venture, Earley’s starting rotation will feature LHP Shane Sdao (Friday), while RHPs Weston Moss and Aiden Sims got the nods for Saturday and Sunday, respectively.<\/p>\n
According to Earley, the competition in the Aggie bullpen was fierce, which could be a positive sign of things to come for the pitching rotation throughout the season.<\/p>\n
“It was a good competition. We really felt like there wasn’t a bad option,” Earley said. “That’s how the order played out, and we’ll see how it works throughout the year. Obviously, the luxury of having all three is very unique for an entire season, but if it plays out like that, great.”<\/p>\n
