Decatur will welcome Carter-Riverside at 7:30 p.m. Decatur knows how to get points on the board — the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games — so hopefully Carter-Riverside likes a good challenge.

If Decatur beats Carter-Riverside with 61 points on Monday, it’s going to be the team’s new lucky number: they’ve won their past two contests with that exact score. The Eagles blew past Burkburnett, posting a 61-26 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 25 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Bralyn Peck

02/10/26 vs Burkburnett75%02/06/26 @ Springtown50%02/03/26 vs Eagle Mountain50%01/31/26 @ Castleberry50%01/30/26 @ Krum38%+ 10 more games

Decatur’s win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bralyn Peck, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. What’s more, Peck also posted a 75% field goal percentage, which is the highest she’s achieved since back in December of 2025. Maddyx Coffman was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Decatur smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Carter-Riverside hadn’t done well against Benbrook recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn’t let the past get in their way on Friday. The Eagles walked away with a 45-38 victory over the Bobcats.

Carter-Riverside’s win came from a few key players that Decatur will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was D’Ani Wilson, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds. She also grabbed six steals, which is notable because Carter-Riverside is 6-3 when she posts at least five steals, but 11-12 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Massiny Sullivan, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 13 boards.

Decatur’s win bumped their record up to 31-4. As for Carter-Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 17-15.

This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Decatur just can’t miss this season, having made 51.3% of their field goals per game. It’s a different story for Carter-Riverside, though, as they’ve only made 33.1% of their shots this season. Given Decatur’s sizable advantage in that area, Carter-Riverside will need to find a way to close that gap.

Everything came up roses for Decatur against Carter-Riverside in their previous meeting back in February of 2021, as the squad secured an 81-23 win. Will Decatur repeat their success, or does Carter-Riverside has a new game plan this time around? We’ll find out soon enough.

Decatur has won seven straight games at home, while Carter-Riverside has won seven straight on the road, but…

[10
116,118,117
0":"post-163315","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-fort-worth","8":"tag-fort-worth","9":"tag-fort-worth-headlines","10":"tag-fort-worth-news
["GET
