The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo got underway this week, meaning one of the city\u2019s biggest annual events will keep us whooping and hollering until March 1. <\/p>\n

Fittingly, plenty of restaurants, hotels and bars want to help us enjoy the ride with rodeo-themed bites and beverages. Let\u2019s run them down.<\/p>\n

Thompson San Antonio \u2013 Riverwalk\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Thompson\u2019s rooftop lounge, The Moon\u2019s Daughters, will operate as Moon\u2019s Saloon, a rodeo-themed pop-up from Feb. 16 through March 7. The specialty menu includes speck-wrapped jalape\u00f1o peppers stuffed with Dapper Goat cheese, house-made potato chips with paddlefish caviar and tzatziki, and a seared bone-in ribeye with duck-fat marble potato confit. Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa<\/p>\n

Rodeo season style starts in the lobby at the La Cantera resort. The Wild Hat Pony Bar, having already celebrated its grand opening on earlier this month, will bring a custom-crafted hat experience to La Cantera\u2019s \u201cliving room.\u201d Guests will be able to design a one-of-a-kind topper before heading out to the arena. Even better? It\u2019s now a permanent front-window addition to the property year-round. Tenfold Rooftop at Kimpton Santo<\/p>\n

Tenfold Rooftop at the Kimpton Santo Hotel will offer a limited-time experience dubbed Boot Scoot on the Skyline. Taking place Thursday, Feb. 19, and Thursday, Feb. 26, the celebration will pair skyline views with line dancing, two-stepping and a live DJ spinning from 6-10 PM. Expect rodeo-themed pop-up shops, flash tattoos, and a sizable dance floor. A limited-time cocktail lineup will also be available Feb. 12 through March 1. Highlights include the Lazo de Lumbre, a rich blend of reposado tequila, coconut rum, vanilla, espresso, and walnut. Corinne at the Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa kicks off rodeo season with The Western Pour, a limited-time cocktail menu available Feb. 12-March 1 during lunch and dinner service. Themed drinks include the Stockyard Old Fashioned with Elijah Craig, demerara syrupand a balance of aromatic and orange bitters. For something bright and refreshing, the strawberry ranch water blends Lalo tequila, lime juice, strawberry oleo and soda for a seasonal twist on a Texas staple.
