They blew past the Harlingen South Hawks<\/a> 13-2. Considering the Wildcats have won three matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday’s blowout was nothing new.<\/p>\n Hannah Thibodeaux<\/a> was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn’t allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Thibodeaux was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs.<\/p>\n In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kylie Butcher<\/a>, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That’s the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025. Audryna Almaraz<\/a> was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.<\/p>\n Calallen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team’s really been improving in that area: they’ve now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.<\/p>\n Calallen’s win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Harlingen South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.<\/p>\n Looking ahead, Calallen will face off against Weslaco at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harlingen South, they will take on Pace at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
