A Tarrant County jury sentenced a man to 15 years in prison after finding him guilty of the 2022 murder of his sister\u2019s boyfriend<\/a>, District Attorney Phil Sorrells said on Friday.<\/p>\n Darius Brown shot 40-year-old Donald Hunt four times inside an Arlington apartment on Aug. 26, 2022, before fleeing the scene, according to a warrant for his arrest.<\/a><\/p>\n Brown\u2019s sister was dating Hunt, and the couple got into an argument on the day of the murder.<\/p>\n The argument escalated to the point where Hunt made physical contact with her, according to the warrant. Someone at the apartment complex called Brown, who showed up a few minutes later.<\/p>\n Brown and Hunt began to argue, and then Brown shot Hunt. His sister left the apartment to get help.<\/p>\n A witness later told police that when Brown arrived at the apartment complex, he said that \u201cthings are not going to end well for Donald,\u201d according to the warrant.
