A 51-year-old woman died Friday when she was stabbed in the neck by her son following a domestic altercation in Fort Worth<\/a>, according to police and the Tarrant County medical examiner\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

Mirlande Ciprien was found dead at a residence in the 4800 block of Cargill Circle around 8:57 p.m. as officers responded to a \u201ccutting call,\u201d according to Fort Worth Police.<\/p>\n

It was determined a domestic incident occurred between Ciprien and her adult son, police said. Her son was found nearby and taken into custody.<\/p>\n

Police said he was also taken to a hospital for possible self-inflicted wounds. As of Sunday morning, police have yet to identify the man.<\/p>\n

This marked the second domestic violence<\/a>-related homicide in Fort Worth last week. <\/p>\n

On Wednesday, a woman\u2019s body, along with evidence of a crime, was found in an apartment in the 7300 block of Harris Parkway as officers investigated a welfare check, police said.<\/p>\n

Her death is being investigated as a possible domestic violence homicide, police said. On Thursday, detectives were preparing an arrest warrant for a known male suspect. <\/p>\n
