GAME 4 | UT Arlington 4, Tulsa 3<\/p>\n
ARLINGTON, TX \u2013 The UT Arlington Mavericks cap off the Dream City Invitational with a victory over Tulsa on Sunday afternoon at Allan Saxe Field.<\/p>\n
Tulsa opened the scoring in the third inning with a solo home run before extending its lead to 2-0 in the fourth. The Mavericks responded immediately in the bottom half of the fourth, plating two runs to even the score. Peyton Holland<\/a> drove in a run, and Marley Neises<\/a> added an RBI to knot the game at 2-2.<\/p>\n After Tulsa regained the lead in the fifth, UTA answered once again. The Mavericks tied the game in the sixth inning on an RBI from Talia Maldonado<\/a> before walking it off in the seventh. With runners on, Maddie Furniss<\/a> delivered the game-winning RBI to seal the comeback victory.<\/p>\n Marley Neises<\/a> finished 1-for-2 with an RBI and a stolen base, while Maldonado went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Holand added an RBI and reached base twice. UT Arlington recorded five hits in the contest and played clean defensively, turning two double plays.<\/p>\n In the circle, Furniss earned the win after tossing four scoreless innings in relief, allowing three hits and striking out two. She did not allow a run in the final four frames to preserve the win. GAME NOTES
