They fell 6-1 to C.H. Yoe. The matchup marked the Wildcats’ lowest-scoring game so far this season.<\/p>\n Plano saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caroline Evans<\/a>, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, McKinney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Royse City. For those keeping track at home, that’s the closest defeat the Lions have suffered since March 22, 2025.<\/p>\n Molly True<\/a> was cooking despite her team’s loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Leyla Molina<\/a> also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.<\/p>\n Plano’s record now sits at 5-2. As for McKinney, their record is now 0-5.<\/p>\n McKinney’s pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Plano hasn’t had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .348. It’s a different story for McKinney, though, as they’ve only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Plano’s hitters?<\/p>\n Plano skirted past McKinney 9-7 when the teams last played back in March of 2025.
