A Fort Worth Fire Department paramedic was terminated from his job late last week following accusations that he sexually assaulted a patient<\/a> during a home visit in Saginaw last year, fire officials said in a statement Monday.<\/p>\n

Luke Dickens was terminated last Friday after violating the conditions of probationary employee status, the statement said.<\/p>\n

Dickens turned himself in to the Tarrant County Sheriff\u2019s Office on Feb. 6, according to a previous statement. He is facing aggravated sexual assault charges.<\/p>\n

It remains unclear whether Dickens was booked into a jail or if he has an attorney.<\/p>\n

The sexual assault was reported to the Fort Worth Police Department on Dec. 30, according to a prior news release from Saginaw police. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Ridgecrest Drive during a scheduled home health care visit, the release said.<\/p>\n

Saginaw police learned about the incident on Jan. 13. <\/p>\n

After an investigation, Saginaw police issued an arrest warrant for Dickens, according to the release. Dickens was immediately placed on administrative leave, and the department also launched an internal investigation.<\/p>\n

Dickens had been with the department since July 2025 and was previously employed by MedStar, according to the statement.<\/p>\n
