One Plano restaurant was closed and roaches and rodent droppings were found<\/a> at others during recent health inspections, according to data from the city compiled by the Star-Telegram.<\/p>\n

The city of Plano scores restaurants<\/a> and other businesses that serve food on a 100-point system. A score of 100 is considered a perfect score and 70 is extremely poor.<\/p>\n

The report includes health violations from Dec. 28 through Jan. 10 and 139 restaurant inspections.<\/p>\n

India Meals Curry Point, at 2108 Dallas Parkway Suite 228 was temporarily closed with a score of 62 after health inspectors observed \u201cgross insanitary conditions.\u201d The restaurant was asked to remain closed until written authorization to reopen was provided by the environmental health division. The restaurant scored a 95 on its follow-up.<\/p>\n

Rodent droppings were found at<\/p>\n

Kuppanna, at 1301 Custer Road Suite 510, health inspectors observed more than five rodent droppings on the floor in a dry storage area. The restaurant scored 82.<\/p>\n

Dead roaches were found at<\/p>\n

Mauro\u2019s Grill And Cafe, 2719 W. 15th St., health inspectors observed five dead roaches under the front counter. The restaurant scored 79.<\/p>\n

Seven other eateries scored below 80:<\/p>\n

Kooksoo, at 100 Legacy Drive Suite 103. Score: 72.Sucre Cafe, at 6100 K Ave. Suite 104D. Score: 72.TKS Chinese Cuisine, at 3829 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Suite 105. Score: 76.Wings Kebab, at 141 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Suite 401. Score: 76.Babahan Uyghur Cafe, at 240 Legacy Drive, Suite 110. Score: 77.Ssam King, at 1861 N. Central Expressway Suite 125. Score: 79.We\u2019Re Dough, at 3421 E. Renner Road, Suite 108. Score: 79.<\/p>\n

A repeat violator, TKS Chinese Cuisine, at 3829 W. Spring Creek Parkway Suite, had multiple repeat violations on both its routine and follow-up inspections. The restaurant was cited by health inspectors for improper food thawing. It scored 93 after a follow-up inspection.<\/p>\n
