Garza St., Slaton<\/p>\n<p>Texas Tech Student Recreation Center \u2013 Hartford Ave. &amp; Main St., Lubbock<\/p>\n<p>Voter ID in Texas<\/p>\n<p>Voter ID is required in Texas and the acceptable forms <a href=\"https:\/\/www.votetexas.gov\/voting\/need-id.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">according to votetexas.gov<\/a> are:<\/p>\n<p>Texas Driver License issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)<\/p>\n<p>Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS<\/p>\n<p>Texas Personal Identification Card issued by DPS<\/p>\n<p>Texas Handgun License issued by DPS<\/p>\n<p>United States Military Identification Card containing the person\u2019s photograph<\/p>\n<p>United States Citizenship Certificate containing the person\u2019s photograph<\/p>\n<p>United States Passport (book or card)<\/p>\n<p>Here is a list of the supporting forms of ID that can be presented if the voter does not have an acceptable photo ID and cannot reasonably obtain one:<\/p>\n<p>copy or original of a government document that shows the voter\u2019s name and an address, including the voter\u2019s voter registration certificate;<\/p>\n<p>copy of or original current utility bill;<\/p>\n<p>copy of or original bank statement;<\/p>\n<p>copy of or original government check;<\/p>\n<p>copy of or original paycheck; or<\/p>\n<p>copy of or original of<\/p>\n<p>(a) a certified domestic (from a U.S. state or territory) birth certificate or<\/p>\n<p>(b) a document confirming birth admissible in a court of law which establishes the voter\u2019s identity (which may include a foreign birth document).<\/p>\n<p>Election Day is March 3 with voting hours from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. <\/p>\n<p>Voting Day locations will be different, so please check back with LubbockLights.com for an update. If a runoff election is necessary, the date will be May 26.
