Sustained southwest winds are expected between 25\u201335 mph, with gusts climbing up to 50 mph and even stronger speeds in area mountains like the Franklin Mountains. Blowing dust is a real possibility Tuesday afternoon, especially given the dry conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday looks just as intense, with similar wind speeds and continued concerns about reduced visibility due to dust.
