{"id":168666,"date":"2026-02-17T21:44:23","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T21:44:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/168666\/"},"modified":"2026-02-17T21:44:23","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T21:44:23","slug":"water-outage-planned-for-northeast-el-paso-this-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/168666\/","title":{"rendered":"Water outage planned for Northeast El Paso this week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">EL PASO, Texas (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ktsm.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:KTSM;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">KTSM<\/a>) \u2014 El Paso Water has scheduled a temporary water shut-off this week in Northeast El Paso.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The scheduled water outage will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"626\" height=\"409\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fc8dc8c13a842f868caebcff7385b673.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The outage will impact about 300 homes and businesses near McCombs Street and Will Ruth Avenue, including the Mountain Vista Apartments, 5757 Will Ruth Ave, the water utility said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This planned shutoff is necessary for crews to replace seven aging valves along McCombs and neighboring streets, El Paso Water said. Wastewater services will not be affected.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Residents and businesses in the affected area are encouraged to store water in advance of the outage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Three water tankers will be available beginning at 9 a.m. until service is restored at the following locations:<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u2022 5800 block of Pompano Ave.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u2022 Intersection of Robin Hood and Will Ruth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u2022 In front of the Mountain Vista Apartments along Will Ruth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Customers with questions can call (915) 263-4000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
