{"id":168722,"date":"2026-02-17T22:28:07","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T22:28:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/168722\/"},"modified":"2026-02-17T22:28:07","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T22:28:07","slug":"man-reindicted-for-2025-murder-of-clinton-boadie-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/168722\/","title":{"rendered":"Man reindicted for 2025 murder of Clinton Boadie Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) &#8211; A 49-year-old man was reindicted by a Lubbock County Grand Jury on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Jonathan Abare was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcbd.com\/2025\/06\/10\/man-indicted-connection-with-january-murder\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.kcbd.com\/2025\/06\/10\/man-indicted-connection-with-january-murder\/\">originally indicted<\/a> in June 2025 for the murder of Clinton Boadie Park.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">In January 2025, the Lubbock County Sheriff\u2019s Department responded to reports of an unconscious person at a home in the 1500 block of North CR 1430.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">When they arrived, deputies found Park hidden behind a couch in the living room of the house in need of medical attention. EMS arrived and were prepping to take Park to the hospital but he died.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to court documents, Park\u2019s cause of death was determined as asphyxia due to strangulation and blunt force injuries. Witnesses told investigators Abare strangled and beat Parking during a fight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Court documents reveal Abare checked himself into the hospital the night of the attack with a \u201cvery superficial laceration.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 KCBD.
