\nThursday night’s meeting will be the eighth all-time, with UTA holding a 5-2 advantage. The past three games have been decided by a total of nine points. The last meeting was an 87-84 double-overtime thriller won by the Trailblazers on Feb. 5 in St. George, Utah.

\nAfter not dropping back-to-back games all season previously, UTA has lost five games in a row. During that tough stretch the Mavs have suffered two overtime losses and two more by five points or less. Utah Tech heads into Arlington riding a six-game winning streak and has a share of first place in the Western Athletic Conference.
