{"id":169306,"date":"2026-02-18T06:24:06","date_gmt":"2026-02-18T06:24:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/169306\/"},"modified":"2026-02-18T06:24:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T06:24:06","slug":"medical-city-alliance-to-expand-emergency-room-operations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/169306\/","title":{"rendered":"Medical City Alliance to expand emergency room operations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicalcityhealthcare.com\/locations\/medical-city-alliance-hospital\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Medical City Alliance<\/a> is expanding its emergency care in the north Fort Worth area.<\/p>\n<p>The details<\/p>\n<p>The expansion will include eight more emergency room beds and redesigned ambulance bays that will provide more efficiency for first responders, according to a news release.<\/p>\n<p>The new facility is expected to break ground in the spring to support growing demand for the hospital and reduce wait times, the release states.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis expansion reflects our ongoing investment in the communities we proudly serve,\u201d Medical City Alliance CEO Glenn Wallace said. \u201cBy expanding our ER, we help ensure that Tarrant County and the surrounding areas continue to have access to exceptional, high-quality emergency care when and where they need it, close to home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the release, ER visits at Medical City Alliance increased nearly 8% between 2023-24, which prompted the need to expand the ER. The expansion is designed to significantly reduce wait times.<\/p>\n<p>A groundbreaking for the expansion will happen in March, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p>The background<\/p>\n<p>Medical City Alliance serves residents in Fort Worth, Keller, Roanoke, Haslet, Saginaw and other surrounding communities in north Tarrant County and south Denton County.<\/p>\n<p>The hospital was designated as a Level III trauma center by the Texas Department of State Health Services in 2020, according to its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicalcityhealthcare.com\/locations\/medical-city-alliance-hospital\/specialties\/emergency-care\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>. Level III trauma centers offer orthopedic surgery, interventional radiology, laboratory services and radiology.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion is part of a $1.5 billion five-year improvement project for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicalcityhealthcare.com\/en-US\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Medical City Healthcare system<\/a>, according to the news release.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&gt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Medical City Alliance is expanding its emergency care in the north Fort Worth area.
