After being met with open arms in Dallas, Maman, a popular cafe from New York City, is bringing a second location to the city.<\/p>\n

A former Schlotzsky\u2019s Deli in Casa Linda will soon transform into the blue toile-clad cafe and patisserie. Promotional Maman signage has been freshly plastered to the windows of the corner retail space. <\/p>\n

It is expected to open in Nov. 2026, according to CultureMap<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The first Texas location, which set up shop in Dallas\u2019 Preston Center<\/a>, drew lines around the building when it opened its doors last Nov. The Casa Linda location will be the cafe\u2019s second location in Texas.<\/p>\n

Maman is gearing up to open its second Texas location in East Dallas’ Casa Linda neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Maman was first created in Soho in 2014 by Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte. <\/p>\n

Its rustic, French provencal aesthetic \u2014 and its nutty chocolate chip cookies praised by Oprah \u2014 found a dedicated fan base. There are now at least 50 locations across the country.<\/p>\n

The cafe has a lineup of pastries made in-house along with quiches, salads, soups and sandwiches. Several menu items were created exclusively for Dallas, like a croissant roll filled with brisket, cheddar, mustard and herbs, and another with salted caramel and toasted maple pecans.<\/p>\n
