More Democratic primary voters in Tarrant County headed to the polls than Republicans on Tuesday, the first day of in person early voting.<\/p>\n
In total, Tarrant County voters cast nearly 15,000<\/a> ballots in the Democratic and Republican primaries, thousands more than on the first day of early voting in 2024, according to the Tarrant County Election Administration.<\/p>\n \u2b50 Our editors also recommend: <\/p>\n At the top of the ticket is the U.S. Senate race, where Republican iIncumbent John Cornyn is trying to stave GOP challengers and Democrats Jasmine Crockett and James Talarico hope to win a spot on the Nov. 3 ballot. There\u2019s also a slate of statewide races for offices like governor and lieutenant governor and county level contests.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, 8,361 Democratic primary voters casts ballots in person and 6,526 Republican voters casts ballots in person.<\/p>\n The Dionne Phillips Bagsby Southwest Subcourthouse in Fort Worth was the most trafficked polling location among Democratic voters.
