{"id":171228,"date":"2026-02-19T11:56:22","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T11:56:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/171228\/"},"modified":"2026-02-19T11:56:22","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T11:56:22","slug":"porter-adds-austin-texas-chicago-ohare-to-north-american-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/171228\/","title":{"rendered":"Porter adds Austin, Texas, Chicago-O\u2019Hare to North American network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-203595\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Porter-Airlines-E195-E2-Flying_1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Porter Airlines is launching flights to Austin, Texas and to Chicago O\u2019Hare International Airport as it continues to expand its North American network; and it\u2019s also adding a new Ottawa-Deer Lake seasonal service here in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>On May 21, Porter will inaugurate new, year-round flights between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Toronto Pearson.<\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 1, Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) service to Chicago is moving from Midway (MDW) to O\u2019Hare (ORD), providing travellers with access to the city\u2019s primary airport and an increase of flight frequency to three per day.<\/p>\n<p>Porter has served Chicago from Billy Bishop since 2008, and passengers will now benefit from the new U.S. CBP Preclearance facility opening in the coming weeks at YTZ.<\/p>\n<p>Future connecting itineraries will also be enabled via O\u2019Hare with partner airlines. Porter continues to build frequency and connectivity from Toronto\u2019s downtown airport, providing more options for travellers than any other airline.<\/p>\n<p>Here in Canada, Porter is launching a new seasonal service between Ottawa and Deer Lake (YDF) begins June 10.
