\u201cWe talk about this every day. Just grateful for each other, we compete with each other every day,\u201d Lamb said. \u201cI feel like the best part about it is we want each other to win the most.\u201d<\/p>\n
When the Cowboys traded for George Pickens in the offseason, they were adamant that they now had two number one wide receivers. In Lamb\u2019s absence, Pickens proved that to be the case and then some, reeling in five touchdowns and recording two 100-yard receiving games.<\/p>\n
Now that they\u2019re both healthy again, Lamb can take some of the pressure off Pickens\u2019 back, although the ball is still bound to go his direction too.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s exciting, man,\u201d Lamb said when asked about returning. \u201cWatching my dog go crazy for the last few weeks, I\u2019m pretty sure he enjoyed it. But just taking the load off of him a little bit, making him play true to the offense and what we\u2019ve got going. It\u2019s fun\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ll always be motivated, but I love to see him do his thing. That\u2019s why we brought him here. I feel like he\u2019s having so much fun here.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fun is being had all across the board for the Cowboys offense. They lead the league in total offense, are second in scoring and passing, and have scored 40 or more points in three games this season.<\/p>\n
Over the course of his six year career in Dallas, Lamb played on some good offenses with talent everywhere. Is the 2025 unit the best he\u2019s been a part of?<\/p>\n
\u201cThis one is the best one I\u2019ve been on, and I\u2019ve been on some great ones,\u201d Lamb said. \u201cIt\u2019s just the way that we can move around these pieces, these players, and everybody everywhere.
