The Plano Police Department issued an alert on Thursday morning about an endangered missing person. Here’s what to do if you know the whereabouts of 17-year-old Todd “Chance” Lee.<\/p>\n

PPD posted a bulletin<\/a> to its social media asking the public for help. According to the post, Lee was reported missing from his residence in the 5000 block of K Avenue by his father. He was last seen by his family on the morning of Feb. 15.<\/p>\n

According to the police, Chance has “previously exhibited signs of mental illness and is prescribed medication but currently does not have the medication with him.” <\/p>\n

Due to those factors, Chance is currently classified as a high-risk (endangered) missing person. The family believes Chance may be in Louisiana.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information about Chance’s whereabouts should call 9-1-1 immediately and reference Plano Police incident #26-31519. The department’s non-emergency line is 971-424-5678. Call the tip line at 972-941-2148 or text tip411 (847411).<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the department sought help<\/a> in finding a 16-year-old resident of Plano, Slade Williams, who was briefly reported missing after leaving his home in the evening or Feb. 8 or the morning of Feb. 9. He did not have a cell phone on his person nor was he driving a car.<\/p>\n

After the police alert, Williams was found and reunited with his family.<\/p>\n

It’s important to note that there is no formal waiting period<\/a> for reporting a missing person in Texas.
