Are you ready to sing about your favorite things? Nine iconic stage plays are making their way to downtown Fort Worth for the 2026-2027 Broadway at the Bass season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Performing Arts Fort Worth, the nonprofit that manages Bass Performance Hall, announced Friday that its upcoming lineup of Broadway shows will open with \u201cJersey Boys\u201d in November and conclude with \u201cThe Outsiders\u201d in September 2027.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Other shows include \u201cMamma Mia!,\u201d \u201cWaitress,\u201d \u201cThe Sound of Music,\u201d \u201cBoop! The Musical,\u201d \u201cBeauty and the Beast,\u201d \u201cBuena Vista Social Club,\u201d and \u201cOperation Mincemeat: A New Musical.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Performing Arts President Dione Kennedy said the upcoming Broadway season features a blend of shows that are either new to Fort Worth audiences or have previously played at Bass Hall.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThis lineup has a mix of something for everyone \u2014 from well-known classic and blockbuster titles to the latest offerings on Broadway,\u201d she said in a statement. \u201cWe invite everyone to join us for this season celebrating the shared experience of the performing arts and the power of storytelling.\u201d<\/p>\n
The nonprofit\u2019s current Broadway season concludes<\/a> with the musical \u201cSuffs\u201d in August.\u00a0<\/p>\n Here\u2019s the complete schedule for the 2026-27 Broadway at the Bass season:<\/p>\n \u201cJersey Boys\u201d (Nov. 3-8)<\/p>\n The Tony Award-winning jukebox musical follows the formation, success and breakup of the 1960s rock ‘n’ roll group the Four Seasons.<\/p>\n \u201cMamma Mia!\u201d (Dec. 1-6)<\/p>\n This jukebox musical tells the story of Sophie as she searches for her father on a Greek island through the timeless hits of ABBA.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWaitress\u201d (Jan. 22-23, 2027)<\/p>\n The musical follows Jenna as she dreams of ways to move out of her small town and rocky marriage. The show\u2019s songs were written by Grammy Award winner Sara Bareilles.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cThe Sound of Music\u201d (April 20-25, 2027)<\/p>\n This iconic 1959 musical tells the story of Maria as she becomes governess to the seven children of widowed naval Captain Baron von Trapp.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cBoop! The Musical\u201d (May 4-9, 2027)<\/p>\n This new Broadway musical-comedy follows the legendary Betty Boop character as she makes her way to New York City.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d (May 25-30, 2027)<\/p>\n Disney invites you to be a guest for the company\u2019s first North American touring production of the musical in over 25 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cBuena Vista Social Club\u201d (June 22-27, 2027)<\/p>\n The Tony Award-winning musical takes guests to the heart of Cuba to learn about the origins of the legendary musical ensemble.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cOperation Mincemeat: A New Musical\u201d (July 20-25, 2027)<\/p>\n The musical, which made its debut on Broadway last year, is based on the 1943 British secret mission that misled the Nazis about the Allies\u2019 invasion plans.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cThe Outsiders\u201d (Sept. 21-26, 2027)<\/p>\n The four-time Tony Award-winning musical is adapted from S.E. Hinton\u2019s novel and Francis Ford Coppola\u2019s 1983 film about Ponyboy Curtis and his Greaser family.\u00a0<\/p>\n Season ticket packages for next year\u2019s Broadway at the Bass start at $257.40 and will become available for purchase beginning May 1.
