On October 21, 2025, at 6:30 am, Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers and Plano Fire Rescue\/Police Department responded to a four-vehicle crash on the northbound lanes of Dallas North Tollway near Spring Creek Pkwy.<\/p>\n

<\/a> <\/p>\n

A preliminary investigation indicated that an 18-wheeler was traveling northbound when the driver made an unsafe lane change and struck a passenger car. This caused the passenger car to crash into the concrete wall and roll over. Two other vehicles then struck the passenger car.<\/p>\n

The driver of the passenger car, a 47-year-old man from Dallas, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other drivers were not injured.<\/p>\n

The driver of the 18-wheeler left the scene.<\/p>\n

This crash is being investigated as a hit-and-run.<\/p>\n
