Amber Glenn<\/a><\/p>\n

Hometown: Plano<\/p>\n

Event: Figure skating – women\u2019s singles, team event<\/p>\n

Nation: United States<\/p>\n

Glenn\u2019s Olympics concluded Thursday when she completed her free skate in the singles competition<\/a>, finishing fifth overall. The performance marked a big bounce-back for Glenn after she struggled in the singles short program<\/a> and team event free skate. Despite the up-and-down Olympics, the three-time U.S. champion will head home with a gold medal from the team event<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Event: Women\u2019s ice hockey<\/p>\n

Bilka\u2019s Olympic debut was golden as the United States beat Canada in an instant-classic, overtime thriller<\/a> in the gold-medal game Thursday. The Coppell native was named to the Olympic All-Star team<\/a> after she led the U.S. with four goals, while adding a further three assists across seven games in Milan.<\/p>\n

Seven current Dallas Stars<\/a> players represented four countries at the Winter Olympics. See how they\u2019ve performed so far.<\/p>\n

Finland<\/p>\n

Four Stars players \u2014 Mikko Rantanen<\/a>, Miro Heiskanen, Roope Hintz and Esa Lindell \u2014 are representing Finland. Rantanen is leading Finland in scoring with 6 points in five games while Heiskanen came through in a big way with a late game-tying goal<\/a> to help his country progress to the semifinal round.<\/p>\n

Bronze-medal game vs. Slovakia: Saturday, Feb. 21 at 1:40 p.m.<\/p>\n

Canada<\/p>\n

Stars defenseman Thomas Harley<\/a> is set to play for a gold medal with Canada. Harley has been a significant blue-line contributor for Canada with four points in five games, including an assist on Mitch Marner\u2019s overtime winner<\/a> in the quarterfinal win over Czechia.<\/p>\n

Gold-medal game vs. United States: Sunday, Feb. 22 at 7:10 a.m.<\/p>\n

United States<\/p>\n

Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger has dressed for multiple games these Olympics as the backup to starter Conor Hellebuyck. He has not yet taken the ice.<\/p>\n

Gold-medal game vs. Canada: Sunday, Feb. 22 at 7:10 a.m.<\/p>\n

Czechia<\/p>\n

Forward Radek Faksa contributed two assists in three games for Czechia at these Olympics. Unfortunately, he missed out on his country\u2019s final two games with an upper-body injury<\/a>. Czechia was eliminated after an overtime loss to Canada in the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n

Emily Chan<\/p>\n

Hometown: McKinney <\/p>\n

Event: Pairs figure skating<\/p>\n

Nation: United States<\/p>\n

Event schedule<\/p>\n

Skating with Spencer Akira Howe, a private first class in the U.S. Army, Chan finished seventh in the pairs competition. They briefly led the competition as the first pair to break the 200-point mark during the free skate.<\/p>\n
