The Wildcats will be taking part in a tournament against the Falcons at 9:00 a.m. Plano is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they’ve averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.<\/p>\n On Thursday, Plano came up short against Hebron and fell 4-1.<\/p>\n Plano saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashley Johnston<\/a>, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one double.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Timber Creek was able to grind out a solid victory over Plano East on Thursday, taking the game 11-8.<\/p>\n Ava Thomas<\/a> was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Teagan Peterson<\/a>, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.<\/p>\n Timber Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive matchups.<\/p>\n Plano’s defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Timber Creek, they have been performing well recently as they’ve won four of their last five contests. That’s provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.<\/p>\n Friday’s game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Plano has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .448. However, it’s not like Timber Creek struggles in that department as they’ve averaged .496.
