Rundberg Lane near Dessau Road, east of Interstate 35.<\/p>\n<p>AUSTIN, Texas \u2014 Police are investigating after a homicide in northeast Austin on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Austin Police Department, the incident happened near the 1400 block of E. Rundberg Lane near Dessau Road, east of Interstate 35.<\/p>\n<p>Police said officers responded to a call just after 3 a.m. from the 9500 Apartments. They found a male victim with what officers describe as &#8220;apparent body trauma.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Officers rendered aid until medics arrived, but the victim did not survive.<\/p>\n<p>This is Austin\u2019s 10h homicide this year.<\/p>\n<p>As of Sunday morning, no one in custody in connection with the death. Police said they believe this is an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public.<\/p>\n<p>No other details are available at this time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The incident happened near the 1400 block of E.
