GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas \u2014 How would you like to meet and eat with some of the best chefs in America?<\/p>\n
Acclaimed Dallas chef Tiffany Derry, owner of Roots Southern Table and Radici, and judge on MasterChef, will host the second annual Shef Food and Wine Festival this weekend in Grand Prairie.<\/p>\n
The festival features 30 of the best chefs from around the country.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am telling you, there is a little bit of everybody,\u201d Derry said.<\/p>\n
Derry said, like last year\u2019s inaugural event, there will be James Beard winners, Top Chef winners, celebrity chefs, Michelin-starred chefs, and so many more.<\/p>\n
Derry said it\u2019s rare to have so much culinary talent in one place.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re all here in Grand Prairie, in DFW for this weekend, which is crazy,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
The Shef Festival, named Shef to celebrate the \u201cshe\u201d in Shef, runs Thursday through Sunday.<\/p>\n
There are many events for guests to choose from, like a chef panel, a marketplace, and a chef pickleball tournament.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou pick what works for you and the time that works for you,\u201d Derry said.<\/p>\n
Then, of course, there\u2019s food.<\/p>\n
Guests can sample some of America\u2019s best dishes from some of America\u2019s best chefs.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s just a little bit of everything and a little bite for everyone,\u201d Derry said.<\/p>\n
No one will leave hungry.<\/p>\n
But Derry hopes they do leave inspired.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just hope that when you remember Shef Food and Wine that you just have a smile on your face and you say, \u2018I can\u2019t wait to come and I can\u2019t wait to bring my family and friends with me the following year.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
