About a third of those visits were made in a region of parks that ranges from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to an area west of Houston.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-2899190a=\"\">The most popular park last year was one just north of DFW, with nearly a million visitors on its own.
