Uros Medic needed just 79 seconds to show he belongs in the octagon with top welterweights when he knocked Geoff Neal out cold in the UFC Fight Night 267<\/a> co-main event.<\/p>\n

Medic (13-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) did what many other elites at 170 pounds could not do and put Neal (16-8 MMA, 8-6 UFC) to sleep with punches. A huge left hand in an exchange connected to the temple and led to the violent finish at the 1:19 mark of Round 1 at Toyota Center in Houston.<\/p>\n

After the win, an elated Medic, who is 5-2 since joining the weight class in July 2023, said he’s hunting for the top dogs and called out former champion Leon Edwards.<\/p>\n

“Houston, we have a problem, and I am the problem,” Medic said in his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. “This division is in trouble. I am going to knock everybody out and bulldoze through this division. Mark my words.”<\/p>\n
