And Arlington isn’t just any stop on the calendar. This place has history. And above all: It carries weight in the title race.

The 2026 edition is already the 48th Supercross race at the DFW Metroplex (Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex) and the 19th event at AT&T StadiumSupercross racing has been held in the region since 1975 – back then at the legendary Texas Stadium. And the numbers clearly show: those who win here often achieve more than just one race victory.

Of the 47 previous 450SX races in the DFW area, 23 winners later champion That’s 49 percent. Inside the AT&T Stadium itself, the percentage is even higher: 12 out of 18 winners (67 percent) They ultimately won the title.

In other words: Arlington is not a random place. Arlington is a statement.

450SX

Eli Tomac arrives in Texas with considerable momentum. He already has three wins this season – and suddenly there are only three left. one point behind Hunter Lawrence and the Red Plate.

Meanwhile, Tomac continues to collect historical statistics: His last victory was his 112th SMX League victory – only two more to go to catch James Stewart. In the Premier Class he is at 56 victories, 16 behind Jeremy McGrath. In addition, his 375th SMX start and 190th 450SX start – which puts him level with Larry Ward and Justin Brayton on the all-time starting list. In short: Tomac isn’t just in the title race – he’s right in the thick of it.

But beware, if there’s one place where Cooper Webb feels at home, it’s Arlington. The numbers speak for themselves: 7 wins in 11 450SX startsAnd although his season start of 7-8-5 was anything but perfect, Webb is only currently in second place. 11 points behind the leader, which should be an additional motivation.

Justin Cooper is getting better and better. His last four results: 10-9-4-3The last podium was his sixth in 44 starts – the first of the season. Hunter Lawrence, however, remains the man with the red plate. In his first 25 450SX starts He hasn’t won yet, but 6 podium finishes and 13 top-5 finishes Collected. Consistency is there. The really big breakthrough in the 450 class is still missing – but it’s damn close.

250SX East: Title race starts in Texas

The story begins with Arlington. 250SX Eastern Regional Series —and here too, Texas is historically no accident. In 24 out of 40 cases (60 percent) The winner of the DFW-250SX race later became champion. This exact pattern has repeated itself in seven of the last ten years. Arlington is therefore also a title indicator in the East.

Jo Shimoda returns – with the purple plate of the SMX champion. With 51 starts over six seasons He brings the most experience to the field. After a finger and neck injury, he’s fit in time and immediately one of the favorites. Star Yamaha sends three strong names into the race: Nate Thrasher, Cole Davies and Pierce Brown.

Seth Hammaker is looking for revenge after narrowly missing out on the title in 2025. Drew Adams is considered a dark horse. Add to that drivers like Jalek Swoll, Coty Schock, and Valentin Guillod – the field is anything but thin.

Texas decides with

Arlington has often been more than just a racecourse in the past. The numbers prove it. History confirms it. Whoever wins here makes a statement. And that’s precisely why this weekend at AT&T Stadium, there’s much more at stake than just 25 points.

2026 Arlington Supercross Schedule

(Information provided without guarantee)

Practice & Qualifying (CET)

18:30 – 18:42 250SX Group C Qualifying 1

18:47 – 18:59 250SX Group B Qualifying 1

19:04 – 19:16 250SX Group A Qualifying 1

19:21 – 19:33 450SX Group A Qualifying 1

19:38 – 19:50 450SX Group B Qualifying 1

19:55 – 20:07 450SX Group C Qualifying 1

21:10 – 21:22 250SX Group C Qualifying 2

21:27 – 21:39 250SX Group B Qualifying 2

21:44 – 21:56 250SX Group A Qualifying 2

22:01 – 22:13 450SX Group A Qualifying 2

22:18 – 22:30 450SX Group B Qualifying 2

22:35 – 22:47 450SX Group C Qualifying 2

Evening program & race (CET) – (Night from Saturday to Sunday)

01:06 – 01:14 250SX Heat 1

01:20 – 01:28 250SX Heat 2

01:34 – 01:42 450SX Heat 1

01:48 – 01:56 450SX Heat 2

02:21 – 02:28 250SX Last Chance Qualifier

02:33 – 02:40 450SX Last Chance Qualifier

02:56 – 03:13 250SX Main Event

03:29 – 03:51 450SX Main Event

 Post navigation

Arlington: Texas, title vibes and real pressure building The AMA Supercross will be stopping in next weekend. Arlington, Texas –…

[13
70753,150,152,151
post-175401","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-arlington","tag-ama-supercross","tag-arlington","tag-arlington-headlines","tag-arlington-news
["GET
