Neither could catch the leader, but Savatgy got around Tomac on the next to last lap to finish second.

Eli Tomac / Photo Credit Feld Motor Sports Inc.
250SX East Main Event

POS
#
RIDER
INTERVAL
HOMETOWN
TEAM

1
163
PIERCE BROWN
20 Laps
Sandy, UT
Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha

2
30
JO SHIMODA Holeshot
2.415
Suzuka, Japan
Honda HRC Progressive

3
58
DAXTON BENNICK
3.777
Morganton, NC
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna

4
10
SETH HAMMAKER
7.533
Bainbridge, PA
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki

5
37
COLE DAVIES
13.146
Waitoki, New Zealand
Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha

6
35
DREW ADAMS
29.333
Chattanooga, TN
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki

7
22
COTY SCHOCK
30.512
Dover, DE
ClubMX Yamaha

8
89
DEVIN SIMONSON
41.865
Laurinburg, NC
ClubMX Yamaha

9
49
CULLIN PARK
46.184
Clermont, FL
Phoenix Racing Honda

10
148
KYLE PETERS
47.889
Mooresville, NC
Peters Racing

11
25
NATE THRASHER
49.955
Livingston, TN
Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha

12
77
DEREK KELLEY
51.837
Boise, ID
Mx6 Racing

13
82
CADEN DUDNEY
54.086
Athens TX
Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing

14
87
JEREMY HAND
1 Lap
Mantua, OH
Valley Motorsports

15
53
HENRY MILLER
1 Lap
Rochester, MN
MX6 Racing

16
101
LUKE CLOUT
1 Lap
Sydney, Australia
Partzilla Blaster PRMX Racing

17
95
LUKE NEESE
1 Lap
Concord, NC
Storm Lake Honda Buddy Brooks Racing

18
90
JOHN SHORT IV
1 Lap
Pilot Point, TX
Short Racing

19
483
BRYTON CARROLL
2 Laps
Vineland, NJ
Life of a Privateer

20
80
BRYCE SHELLY
2 Laps
Telford, PA
Gizmo Mods Yamaha

21
56
JALEK SWOLL
18 Laps
Senoia, GA
Triumph Factory Racing

22
65
MARSHAL WELTIN
20 Laps
Ubly, MI
MX6 Racing

Jo Shimoda does it again, out fast and grabs the holeshot. No one gave him this race, he had to earn it. Passing one of the toughest riders on the circuit. Passing the defending series champion. and holding off the all-time best closer. He joins his brother as a Supercross Main Event winner. Hunter extended his points lead to four points over Tomac. Heading to Daytona next week, Tomac is the all-time wins leader at the World Center of Racing. What a battle should be in store.

250SX: It is interesting that two guys fighting back from injuries ended 1-2 on the night. For Pierce Brown, Arlington was his first Supercross win. He was leading the 250SX East opener last year at Tampa when he crashed over the handlebars and landed face first. Brown suffered a broken T5 vertebra and was out the entire 2026 Season. After winning the SMX 250 World Championship over Haiden Deegan, Jo Shimoda had a training crash in Florida. Shimoda suffered two fractured and displaced vertebrae in his upper back/lower neck. It will be interesting to see these two battle through the season and if any other rider can inject themselves into the Supercross title chase.

Live Coverage from The Lasco Press next week at Daytona International Speedway.

AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX — February 21, 2026 The Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series visits the home…

[13
150,152,151
post-175583","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-arlington","tag-arlington","tag-arlington-headlines","tag-arlington-news
["GET
