While we understand the tremendous interest and the many lives he touched, we ask the community to honor the family\u2019s wishes and allow them the space to mourn privately.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Fred Loya Sr. founded his insurance business in 1974 and has since expanded with over 800 offices in 12 states.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cFred was more than a business leader he was a visionary, a mentor, and a pillar of the El Paso community. Through his leadership, generosity, and unwavering commitment to his employees and customers, he built not only a successful enterprise, but a legacy that has impacted thousands of families throughout our region and beyond,\u201d read the release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In the Borderland, the holiday season doesn\u2019t feel complete without a trip to the Fred Loya House for the El Paso Christmas Lights show. For two decades, the Fred Loya Lights was the staple weekend event that brought holiday cheer and excitement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cWe are grateful for the outpouring of support, prayers, and condolences from the community.
