Locals can stay tuned for additional changes to come with a new dance studio and health clinic coming soon. This list is not comprehensive.<\/p>\n<p>Now Open<\/p>\n<p>1. ATX Indoor Golf Club<\/p>\n<p>Chris and Meredith Roach are the local owners behind the golf club, which offers 24\/7 indoor golf simulations, including private and semi-private hitting bays. The bays will be equipped with seating, a TV and a refrigerator. Guests are welcome to purchase snacks and non-alcoholic drinks from the business\u2019s \u201c19th hole\u201d pantry, or bring their own.<\/p>\n<p>2. ANDINO\u2019S Venezuelan Food<\/p>\n<p>The Venezuelan food truck serves a variety of dishes, including arepas, cachapas, empanadas and almuerzos. The menu also features a selection of drinks.<\/p>\n<p>3. Eggs Up Grill<\/p>\n<p>The new breakfast spot is helmed by local franchise owners Omar Thompson and Megan Hood. This is Eggs Up Grill\u2019s first Austin location.<\/p>\n<p>4. Fig &amp; Brie<\/p>\n<p>The charcuterie company officially launched its Austin location in late November. Customers can order boards, picnic boxes, cups, bundles and wine.<\/p>\n<p>5. (Courtesy Pollo Campero)<\/p>\n<p>6. Mavi Jeans<\/p>\n<p>The denim retailer was established in Istanbul in 1991 and offers jeans for men and women. The store is located next to Altar&#8217;d State in Barton Creek Square.<\/p>\n<p>7. Steel N Ink<\/p>\n<p>The tattoo and piercing studio is now open next to Sephora in Barton Creek Square.<\/p>\n<p>Coming Soon<\/p>\n<p>8. Austin Gastroenterology<\/p>\n<p>The practice will be launching its Barton Ridge location which will consolidate its former James Casey and Southwest clinics into one modern facility. The company hopes to enhance care coordination, streamline services and create a convenient experience for patients by combining the two locations.<\/p>\n<p>9. Hello Dancer<\/p>\n<p>The studio will feature a full schedule designed for young dancers ages two months to nine years old. Parents can look into a range of classes and additional offerings including spring, summer and fall sessions which include weekly dance classes for babies, toddlers and children, Baby and Me classes, Mommy and Me classes and independent classes for PreK 3-9 year olds.<\/p>\n<p>10. Juiced Fuel Austin<\/p>\n<p>The company brings fuel to the dock, driveway or job site to eliminate trips to the fuel pump or having to transport containers of gasoline. When the Austin service area is launched, customers can set appointments to have their vehicles or boats fueled at their convenience through the company&#8217;s website or app.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s Next<\/p>\n<p>11. QuikTrip<\/p>\n<p>According to a permit filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, QuikTrip is expected to start construction on a new location in August with an end date of April 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Relocations<\/p>\n<p>12. Half Price Books<\/p>\n<p>The bookstore is closing its South Lamar location which can be found at 2929 S. Lamar Blvd. and is relocating all of its inventory to a new location opening on South First Street.<\/p>\n<p>Relocation in spring2607 S. (Courtesy Hello Dancer)In the News<\/p>\n<p>13. Mandola\u2019s Italian Kitchen<\/p>\n<p>Since 2006, Mandola\u2019s has been serving Italian dishes to Texas. Owners Damien and Trina Mandola are celebrating 20 years of business in March.<\/p>\n<p>14. Waterloo Ice House<\/p>\n<p>Waterloo Ice House has served the Austin community since its opening in 1976 and is celebrating the occasion with a collaboration featuring Austin Beerworks. The two local businesses are coming together to create a custom 50th anniversary Golden Ale that will be available at all four Waterloo Ice House locations throughout 2026.<\/p>\n<p>8600 Burnet Road, Austin; 6203 N. Capital of Texas Hwy., Austin; 9600 S. I-35, Austin; 9600 Escarpment Blvd., Austin<a href=\"http:\/\/www.waterlooicehouse.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">www.waterlooicehouse.com<\/a>15. Ally Medical Emergency Room<\/p>\n<p>The Ally Medical Emergency Room team has been serving the Menchaca area for five years. There are 10 free-standing Ally Medical Emergency Rooms across Texas, including seven in the Austin area. The team specializes in treating chest pain, cardiac concerns, severe allergic reactions, abdominal pain, high fevers, broken bones, cuts and sprains, according to the website.<\/p>\n<p>16. St. David\u2019s Emergency Center<\/p>\n<p>St. David&#8217;s HealthCare acquired ownership of six Austin Emergency Center locations Feb. 1, including a center off South Lamar. The new centers are staffed with nurses trained in emergency care and board-certified, St. David\u2019s-affiliated physicians.<\/p>\n<p>Closings<\/p>\n<p>17. Francesca\u2019s<\/p>\n<p>After 26 years in business, Houston-based clothing retail chain Francesca\u2019s started the process of liquidating all merchandise and closing all stores in mid-January, according to a letter from company officials to the Texas Workforce Commission.
